“Hi Cye.” Mina said walking up to him. Cye was spray-painting some thing on somebody’s locker.

“What do you want?” He didn’t even know her and already he looked annoyed.

“I am a little lost. It’s my second day here.”

“I’ve noticed. I also don’t care.”

“Do you know where English is?” Her voice got smaller.

“No. I didn’t know this school taught English.”

Mina gasped. Was this guy retarded?

“Of course they teach English Cye. Just not the English that you are used to.” Kento walked up to them. “Who’s the blonde this week Cye.”

“Mary?”

“My name is Mina.”

“Yeah whatever. I prefer Mary so I will call you Mary.”

“Wow! You don’t even know their names now.”

“Kento, do you really think that I would subject myself to…to…that?”

“My name is Mina, not Mary.”

“Haven’t we already established that? And haven’t I told you I don’t care?”

“Hey Cye,” said Kento. “Are we going to class today?”

“Are Sage and Rowen gonna be there?”

“No.”

“Well then we aren’t going.”

“You guys skip?”

They both looked at Mina. “Are you still here?”

“Well I’m talking to you. So you guys skip.”

“NO! We’re good little boys who enjoy doing our homework and sucking up to teachers so we can be valedictorian.” said Kento sarcastically.

“It’s wrong. You shouldn’t skip.”

“Oh no Kento, we are doing something wrong. Someone get me a priest I must confess my sins. Repent Kento repent. Thank you Mina you have saved my soul. I just have one more question. Who asked you to bud into our business?"

“Hey Guys.” They turned to see Rowen. “Leave the blonde alone. We have work to do. Sage and Ryo are already waiting for us. Let’s go.”

“Coming Ro.” said Kento.

Mina couldn’t believe her luck. All of them were together. She couldn’t pass up an opportunity like that. So she waited for Kento and Cye to get further ahead then she followed them. It wasn’t long until she bumped into Raye.

“What are you doing here Mina?” She whispered.

“I’m probably doing the same thing that you are doing.”

They looked up and saw all of the boys in the courtyard just standing there.

“What do you think they are doing?” asked Raye as they hid behind a bush.

“I don’t know.”

“Sage almost blew it.” Ryo finally said.

“How?” asked Kento.

“How much about yourself did you tell her?” Ryo crossed his arms. He looked pretty upset for some reason.

“I just told her my dream Ryo. You don’t need to get all uptight.” Sage crossed his arms as if to challenge him.

“Is that all you did?” asked Rowen

“I fixed her car.”

“Sage!” screamed Ryo. “Kayura told you that we couldn’t be so social. Don’t talk to her again.”

“Since when did you become my keeper?” He shouted back

“You know when. I am responsible for all of ever since I became the leader. Accept it because it will never change.”

“Nobody agreed to make you the leader. Ryo if it weren’t for all of us you would be dead. I saved your life at least five times and the other guys can say the same. You have only saved us once. And you needed our power to do it. Do you remember Ryo? We were all near death. I was trying to keep you from harm and gave up my physical form for it. I could have left you there.”

“I’m sure with or without you I would have prevailed. You’re not as great as you think you are Sage.”

“You should look into a mirror when you say that. You are more egotistical than a millionaire movie star.”

“And you would know everything about egotism Mr. Popularity.”

“At least people like me.”

“Well if I had blonde hair and blue eyes they would be fawning over me too.”

“Sure they would Ryo. Just keep telling yourself that.”

“I ought to kill you right now.”

“Just try it.”

Raye hiccupped. Rowen turned toward their direction, but Raye and Mina didn’t see it.

“When you took your arm……….”

“Quiet!” interrupted Rowen. “Somebody’s listening to us.” They all got in the fighting position. Mina moved slightly debating weather she should run for it. Big mistake though because Sage saw the slight quarter inch movement.

“It’s the new girls.” The boys followed his stare to the girls behind the bush. “ So,” Sage said walking up to them. “How much did you hear?” The other boys surrounded them.

“Little parts like um uh … you know?”

“No I don’t. Why don’t you indulge me?”

“It’s not really important. In fact we should be going. I don’t want to miss anymore of my History class.”

“I thought you had English.”

“English, history what’s the difference?”

“Leave them alone!” Lita ran up to them.

“Oh thank God Lita. Save us. Hurt them.”

She looked at Sage and pushed him out of the way. “Don’t talk to my friends that way.”

Ryo grabbed her hand and twisted it. “Then don’t push my friend.”

Lita kicked Ryo in the shin. Ryo laughed at her and then pushed her to the ground.

She looked up see Ryo laughing, Cye laughing, Kento laughing, Rowen laughing, but what hurt her most was that Sage was laughing.

“You’re not so smart little girl.” said Sage. “Why would you start attacking one man although his four best friends are right there?” Lita jumped up and slapped him. Sage only looked stunned for a few seconds. He grabbed her face and threw her back down to the floor. Lita looked at him for a while and then kicked his dick. He fell to the floor and his face turned red. Kento ran to help him while Cye punched Lita and knocked her out for a minute. Lita had never known such strength could exist in normal people. They must all be like Sage.

Mina and Raye got up and pushed through Cye and Rowen to get to Lita. They helped Lita up to her feet. Lita had a bruise under her chin from Sage and a black eye from Cye. Raye was shocked to see that her friend could not defeat them.

“Maybe for Christmas you could ask for some class.” said Raye.

“I don’t want class. I hate class. I don’t even go to class.” replied Cye.

“That explains your ignorance.” said Mina.

Cye’s face got red and then he grabbed her shirt and picked her up by it. “You aren’t even on familiar terms with me. How dare you presume that I am dull-witted immediately for the reason that I don’t necessitate to acquire a non compulsory itinerary.”

“Can you say that in English?” asked Mina.

“You effortless diminutive adolescent. You still reside within the dense humanity occupied by foolishness and insensitivity.”

“Maybe he doesn’t require an English class.”

“None of us call for any of the curriculum at this school.” said Sage.

“Rowen’s I.Q. surpasses 250.”

“That’s better than Amy’s.”

“Still, Kento possess an elevated learning capability. And he is the dense individual in our assemblage of friends.” said Rowen. “We presently prefer to converse in vocabulary with the intention of helping citizens our age be capable of perceiving.”

“Well you and your smart friends can take this.” Raye punched Rowen in the stomach.

“Is that the best you comprise?” Kento pushed her and she fell down. Lita and Mina helped her to stand up.

“You girls just don’t catch it.” said Sage. “You are no competition for us.”

“You don’t talk as fancy as the others.” said Lita. “Maybe you are the dense one.”

“Hey leave them alone.” Darien Serena and Amy ran to help them.

“Now we outnumber you.” said Raye.

“Oh no. Whatever will we do?” said Cye. “Six girls and five boys. Let’s pause and reflect. Gee Kento, what will the outcome be in this fight.”

“Forgive me.” said Darien. “But you are mistaken. There are five girls in addition to one boy."

“Oh you’re a boy!” said Rowen…seriously “That’s a relief. I got the insinuation that you were a girl for an extensive minute and later I saw you kiss that girl. Boy do I feel stupid.”

“We’ll cease this shortly.” said Ryo

“We’ll kick your butt.” said Serena.

All of the boys laughed and then turned and walked away. Rowen and Sage paused, turned around and started laughing again. They all got into Sage’s car and drove away.

“How dare them. Pushing all of my friends down like that? They ought to be ashamed. Good thing my Darien would never do a thing like that.”

“I thought you said Sage was a good guy Lita.” said Raye. Lita didn’t answer. “Lita?” They turned to Lita and noticed she was staring where they last saw the boys. eyes were watering. “Oh Lita. It’ll be okay.”

“His dream sounded so beautiful. I thought he was different than that. I thought that he was special, and I thought that I could like him.” She broke down into loud sobbing.

“Lita, he’s just a jerk.” said Mina.

“Yeah, and even if he’s not a jerk at heart it’s almost certainly the guys he hangs out with.” said Amy.

“Guys,” said Raye solemnly. “I think they’re in a gang. I mean Sage said Ryo was the leader and he nearly died. But then I picked up another name. Kayura…”
