"Ring, ring, ring!" said the telephone.
"Hello! This is Duo! May I ask who's calling and who you want to talk to?" Duo asked politely.
"Hello Duo, this is Relena Peacecraft-Darilin. I wish to speak to Heero." answered the caller.
"Uh, hold on... HEERO!!! RELENA WANTS TO TALK TO YOU!!"
"Tell her I have nothing to say. And stop yelling, you're giving me a headache." Heero replied.
"Okay... Sorry Relena, Heero doesn't live here anymore. Bye!" Duo told her.
"Wait Duo! I just heard him in the background!" Relena shouted.
"I'm sorry! Heero still doesn't want to talk to you. Now, bye!" Duo said as he hung up the phone. "Poor Relena. It almost makes me feel sorry for her." he said to the other three guys in the room, Trowa, Wufei, and Quatre.
"Hey Heero, why don't you want to talk to Relena?" Quatre asked.
But before Heero could answer, "Ring, ring, ring!" the telephone said again.
"I'll get it this time." Trowa said, but he was too late.
"Hi this is Duo! May I ask who's calling?" Duo said, beating him to the phone.
"Hello Duo. This is Relena again. I know Heero doesn't feel like talking to me. But can you please ask him if he'll go out with me?" Relena asked.
"Hold on...HEERO WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME??!!" Duo screamed at the top of his lungs as Relena grimaced on the other line. Wufei, Quatre, and Trowa all looked up from what they were doing.
"Duo, how many times do I have to tell you not to scream in the house? It's annoying. Is that Relena on the phone?" Heero asked.
"Yep. And she wants to know if you'll go out with her. Here." Duo said, handing Heero the phone.
"Relena, I dont' want to talk to you, so what makes you think I want to date you?" Heero asked, monotonessly.
"Heero, what is it about me that makes you not want to talke to me? You left me a teddy bear, didn't that mean anything?" Relena asked.
"Alright, what do you want me to do so that you leave me alone? What is it you want from me?" Heero asked impatiantly.
"Well... you could join me for dinner. How about tommorow night, say 7:30?" She said, very happily.
"Fine." Then he turned off the phone.
"Well, what did she say, Heero?" Quatre asked curiously.
"She said I have to meet her for dinner. So I'm going to buy a tux." Heero said.
"Okiday! Buh-bye!" Duo yelled. As Heero slammed the door, the telephone rang again.
"I'LL GET IT!!" Duo screamed,but Wufei had already picked up the phone.
"Who are you and what do you want?"
"Hello Wufei! This is Relena!" she said very cheerfully. Then Wufei took the phone awayfrom his head and held it over the garbage can. Trowa, sensing Wufei's discomfort, took the phone out of his hand just as it dropped.
"Hello Relena." Trowa said.
"How did you know it was me, and, where did Wufei go, and, is Heero gone?"
"Little hints gave your identity away, Wufei... has... other stuff to attend to, and Heero just left. Why?" Trowa said answering her three questions.
"Because I need you to help me with my romantic dinner for two. Come over to my house and I'll give you the details. Thanks Trowa, you and the others are life savers!!" Relena said joyfully as she hung up.
"What was that all about?" Duo asked.
"It seems Relena just made us her help for the dinner she's planned for Heero. We're to go over to her house and she'll tell us more about the jobs."
"Why didn't you decline her little favor???" Wufei asked highly aggravated.
"Because she didn't give me the chance. C'mon."
And so they all went over to Relena's house.
