A story in free verse form of the Mother of Earth
The battle field: Southern hemisphere. The enemy: DarknessFrom forth the battle ensued of the Planet Earth, and the guardian in a dream world: Elysion.The battlefield: Southern Hemisphere. The enemy: Darkness From forth the battle ensued of the Planet Earth, and the Mystical guardian in a dream world: Elysion. Casualties high, blood spilled; This message to the queen. The queen and her priest, her lover, her Elios; The queen, carrying her first child in her womb; The queen, a senshi, of her planet; The queen...Sailor Earth. "Majesty," begged a soldier, "We are going down! The darkness of the Negaforces are to win!" Elios, though silent in nature, stood. His white hair, his white skin, darkening. "What force do we have as our own? We are but of Earth, they...are of evil." His eyes, sad and red, turned to his queen, his love, his Mamora. "Darling," he whispered. "This grave news...we must surrender." Her eyes, silver, flashed. She rose slowly, her stomach big Bearing the child of Elios, her little heir. "I am..." she paused, "In a heaviness from the baby, but I am..." Gasped for breath, "Also a queen, a ruler, protector to my people. I am a senshi; Sailor Earth. I will draw my powers from Within... For you... For my people... For our future... For my child..." The begging of her loyals, in fear for their lady, and her child, Pleaded, "Our lady, please! Don't risk yourself for us!" She turned, her senshi skirt wisping softly, staring. "I am of Earth, I will not surrender." The battlefield was hot, reeking with blood. Soldiers fallen, wounded, dying, all at her feet. The senshi held fast To her rod, it's crest of leaves crowning it, glowing. "Come forth cowards!" she shouted to the darkness. "Come face me! You have ravaged, killed, raped, crushed, and stolen sweet life! You have endangered me as well as my unborn child! In the name of and by it's power, I shall eradicate you by the force of Earth! Powers of plants and mineral, COME TO ME!" Her staff in air, the general of evil came. "I am here..." he wretched, his twisted tongue slithering out. "I shall fight you alone." Silence. "You foolish woman. In your condition, and weakness! I admire your courage, but it's your STUPIDITY, that will downfall you!" She did not budge. She raised her hand. "EARTH FLORA FORCE!" A rash wave of bladed leaves shot and slashed the General, his black blood pouring. "Darkness shall prevail!" he rang, swinging a club, missing, for his eyes were clouded in hate. The battle raged in, bashing, slashing, Tearing them both haggard. "EARTH GOLDEN QUAKE!!!" She called again, the ground beneath him blasting him With a force beyond measure. The force...shook not only him. A pain hit the senshi, right in her middle. Her cry rang out, "It has come!" The castle of Earth was quiet. The halls were quiet. The dead silence filled the air. Elios, recalling his wife's last words Spoken to him in such tenderness: "I will return to you, my only love..." He stood, and walked to the steps Of the palace, trembling. The loyals crept behind him, fearing the worst. But a hush covered all as a blanket. The darkness was fading away, and a figure Slowly walked forward. The figure stopped at the steps. Silver eyes... Silver hair... A torn fuku... The light jewel of love glowing from her heart... A baby, in her arms... Elios knew, this, was his queen, worn, beaten, fought a battle Alone, her strength of hope keeping her alive. In the fight, she brought forth, birthed, breathed life into Their son, their prince, their firstborn...
