"I should have. I should have known at least one of us wouldn't allow them to die. Mina was a good human being with a good heart and that is why she is dead."

"Yes, but it isn't your fault. It is Sailor Triton's and we will pay her back for what she did. She no longer has a hold of Cye and pretty soon we will have the rest of the Ronin Warriors back." Nobody said a word after that.

Lita sat thinking to herself that the chances of winning them back now are uncertain. Maybe Sage's love for her had deteriorated over time and it couldn't rise over the curse. What if he were Callisto's prisoner forever? What if she had to kill him herself? Would she be able to? A gigantic knot of pain swelled inside her chest. She knew she would never be able to bring herself to that. Sage was not going to die by her hands. Even if Sage did try to kill her she would not counter it.

"What if we never get Ryo back?? Raye seemed to be thinking the same thing that Lita had. She looked at Rowen hoping he had an encouraging answer but he just held her tighter. Serena turned around and looked out the window. She should not just stand there and wait around for them to attack them again. The moons are used to being the first ones to assault. Now it was time for Serena to astonish them.

"I have to go." She said.

"Where are you going?? Rowen asked. He recognized the look of purpose in her eyes and Cye apparently saw it too. He stood up and walked to Serena.

"You aren't thinking of doing anything dumb are you?"

"We'll see. Don't worry about me. I'm a big girl, I tie my own shoes and everything. But you are going to have to trust me and don't follow me this time. All of you have to promise that to me."

They all hesitated then nodded. She looked at Amy and gave the 'I hope this works' look and left.

She was walking down the streets of down town. She was hoping that the fact that she was alone would be enough to draw the moon senshi out of hiding. She was right, but it was the wrong group of senshi that showed up.

"Sailor Moon." Europa stood in front of her. "What are you doing here?"

"I have to get captured."

The looks on their faces almost made Serena burst into laughter.

"WHY?" Titan shouted. "What made you think that was crucial?"

"It's the only way to get my Kento back. Trust me."

Europa nodded and told the other girls to leave. "I have a high regard for your strength Sailor Moon. Your audacity and compassion cannot be compared. You would make an excellent moon princess. But I come to you not with good news. I have traced the nefaraids' hiding place. They are inside the Tokyo Tower waiting. But I do not know why."

"I will find out later. Right now I must go to get a very essential ally. With his strength and Rowen's brains we will be able to overcome our enemies."

Europa nodded once more and left. Serena was glad that they were on her side but she focused her mind on what was imperative. She had to find Kento. Then, as though luck were on her side, he walked out of the arcade down the street. At least that part of Kento hadn't changed. She ran as fast as her feet would allow her to.

"Kento!" He turned around.

"Oh, it's just you. I thought you were somebody important. Leave me alone."

"Fine, but first?" she threw her arms behind his neck and kissed him.

His eyes looked as though he had just drifted into La La Land. "What was that you were sayin??"

"Kento?"

"Gosh." He rubbed his eyes. "I go to sleep and the next thing I know I'm in Downtown Tokyo." He looked into Serena's eyes and his attitude changed. "What's the matter? Is there something on my face?" She kissed his cheek.

"Are you...you?"

"...Yeah, I think so. What's goin' on?"

"You don't remember do you? Well let me tell you the important parts then. These Sailor Scouts came to earth claiming that I wasn't fit to hold the throne and then they stole our boyfriends from us. And as though that were not enough they forced you all to attack us. Luckily Rowen came to his senses and apologized for his actions. When Cye came back...Triton killed my sister. Sage didn't even care." She looked at her feet as tears started to fall.

Kento put his arms around her. "Did I hurt you?"

"Sometimes. You challenged me to a duel but Lita fought you for me."

"I must have been really out. I would never even dream of hurting you. You...you are the world to me."

"And I feel the same about you. My plan was actually to let them capture me to get you back."

"You shouldn't have done that! There were other ways you know? You could have been killed, what if you couldn't get me on your side and I couldn't protect you? Did you think about that?"

"Gosh, you sound like my mother. Get a grip Kento. I was prepared to die for you."

"Well, I'm not prepared to let you die for me." He held her tighter.

"Oh my gosh, I've almost forgotten. Kento, we have to get to the Tokyo tower!"

"Why?"

"The neferiads are there." Kento shook his head. "What? We have to stop them. They are going to obliterate the planet if we don't."

"I'm not one to say this but seeing how you are with me, I can't allow you to go in there without a rational plan." Serena stood stunned. "I can't risk just rushing in there and getting you killed. I'd feel responsible and I promised your brother that I wouldn't allow any harm to come to you."

"Huh? Yeah right. Like my brother ever talks to you about me. My brother hated me even before now." She said furiously. "He loves Mina but casts me aside. We are nothing alike at all. He wouldn't care if I disappeared, in fact I bet he prays for that."

Kento's eyes were big and he shook his head again. "No! Serena, you've got him all wrong. The first day I started to go out with you he came up to me and made me promise him so many things."

"Like what."

"Like keeping you out of harm, not breaking your heart, keeping you away from drugs, alcohol, the wrong kind of people, stairs, candy stores, Darien, you know? The list goes on. He knows you won't listen to him so he gave up trying to talk to you. He kind of sends his messages through me. I know for a fact that Sage loves you. But whatever that girl did to him...that's the person you are mad at."

"At the movie theater he got mad at me for telling Amy what Rowen did. He looked at me with such detestation."

"No...anger. He was mad because he thought you had ruined a good thing. You see how well Amy and Ro get along. We even think that one day they will get married. They are the kind of couple that last, and so are we. That's why Sage was looking at you like that. Trust me, your brother has told me he would give up anything for you. Even his life. So please don't be mad at Sage. Be mad at the witches who have done this to him."

"How moving."

"Demi!"

"You weren't easy to keep. Love stinks. So does heartbreak." She flashed her eyes at Serena. "It's your fault he's pure again."

"No! His heart was always pure. You just clouded it for a while but even clouds fade. Love will prevail over all and?"

"SILENCE!" Demi pushed Kento out of the way and stuck a dagger into Serena's chest.

"SERENA! NO! DEMI DON'T!" Demi laughed and held her arm to the sky.

"DEIMOS DOME!" Kento couldn't get to Serena now. There was a dome of fire that surrounded the two girls.

"You can't kill me." Serena narrowed her eyes and kicked the dagger out of her hand. "At least not that easily."

"But I stuck you with?"

"Yes, you did." The dome disappeared and Kento ran up to Serena. "I'm fine Kento."

"Not for long. I have come across a very remarkable weapon. One that no Sailor Scout has used for attack. Can you guess what it is?"

"No."

"Well?" Demi took out a gun from her pocket and began to shoot her. "Die, Die, DIE!"

"NO!" Kento tried to jump in the way but all of a sudden a jet stream of fire pushed him back. "Ryo, SAGE!" There they stood in their full armor. Demi walked over to Serena and picked up her dagger.

"You have been stabbed once, shot three times, and still, you refuse to die."

"...I...will NEVER SUCCOMB...To your power...or..." her voice broke.

"Or what?" Before she could answer Demi pushed her to the ground. She was too weak to get back on her feet or to fight off what Demi was doing now. "Hope this hurts Moon Brat." She grabbed her wrist and slowly began to dig the blade into it. Thick crimson blood dripped slowly but profoundly down her arm. Serena didn't so much as cringe.

"Even-if-I-do-die-I...will-never-let-you...make-me-scream."

"Have you ever dissected an arm before?"

"SAGE, STOP HER!" Kento yelled. "Please, that's your sister. Your other one is dead because we were to blind to stop it. Would you let somebody you love, allow a loved one to die?"

Sage looked at Kento as though he thought her was out of his mind. Demi jammed the knife and Serena's shoulder and Serena bit her lip. Blood didn't pour, it oozed and gushed out of the lengthy laceration Demi was making to her fingers.

As Sage was watching this, his eyes seemed to fill with tears. Help her! Move your feet or she'll die! Why can't I do it? How can I just stand here and watch someone torment my sister? What did Christie do to me? Kento's right, if she really loved me she would never immobilize my will to help her. She stopped me from preventing the death of my other sister, and now this. I...I DON'T LOVE CHRISTIE! Sage's body jerked a bit. Then whom do you love? Another voice in his head asked. I...I...LOVE LITA! I WILL NOT LET DEMI KILL MY SISTER!

"STOP!!!" Sage ran towards them and tackled Demi. "Touch my sister again, and I will personally kill you."
