Rowen decided that it would be best if he took Raye home. Of course Amy came with them. Kento and Cye went for a drive to calm their anxiety and Lita and Sage stayed at her apartment. He sat on the couch trying to stop crying and Lita had gone into the kitchen to make some tea. He realized that the tears were beginning to slow down.

“Are you feeling better Sage?” asked Lita. She sat next to him holding two cups of tea. He took one and then put his arm around her. He gave her a look that told her he wasn’t sure if he would ever feel better. She pulled him close to her and kissed the top of his head.

“Lita...I’ve never felt this nervous before. I’ve lost my sisters. What if I lose everybody else?”

“Oh baby...that’ll never happen. I know it won’t. I will never leave you. Now drink your tea. It’ll make you feel better. Trust me.”

He sat up and began to sip. “This tastes really good Lita. I missed tasting things you made. Especially your cooking. I love your cooking. I love you.”

“I love you too Sage.”

“Can I ask you a favor?” Lita nodded. “Can you hold me while I sleep?”

“Of course.” He put his tea on the coffee table and then leaned back into her. His eyes closed and he put a small smile on his face. “I love you Sage.” He looked up at her and kissed her. She knew it wasn’t usual for Sage to act this vulnerable and she thought that this spoke numbers about how he felt for her. Sage wouldn’t act like this in front of just anybody. She watched him sleep and silently thanked God that he was back to his normal self again.

Raye was sitting in front of the fire at the temple. She was hoping it would be able to let her talk to Serena or Mina and figure out how to conquer the new enemies. It’s amazing how the Moon’s were so concerned about the Neferiads and the Inner Scouts had never encountered them. She was beginning to wonder if maybe it was the Moon’s excuse for their selfishness. They did say they would do anything to get the throne.

But Elise wouldn’t lie. Would she? Another question is...who has the throne now. Raye hoped Serena gave it to an outer Sailor Scout. They are the only ones who are a match for the Moon’s.

“There is no way I’m going to be able to read the fire if I can’t focus on one thing.”

Something began to stand out of the fire. It was Sailor Scout. It was a scout that Raye had never seen before. Her eyes were closed and she was lying on a stone slab. She looked dead. Next to her was a man with white hair and yet he looked youthful. There was a crown on his head and he looked lifeless too. Then she saw a stone tablet. There was an inscription on it.

Long asleep in the watchful eye
of Uranus the Lord of the Sky.
A Sailor Scout awaits the call
to bring order once again to all.
Her prince is waiting for the time
to punish those who committed the crime.
When it seems like there is nothing to count on
Awaken the Sailors of Justice, Titania and Oberon.

Raye lost the image after that. She ran to her room and wrote down the message on a piece of paper so she wouldn’t forget. She read it over and over again. How do you awaken them? And how is it that she had never heard of them?

“What’s going on?” asked Amy. She and Rowen were standing at her door.

“You two can come in.” Amy sat on the edge of Raye’s bed and Rowen sat on the floor right next to the bed. “I did a bit of fire reading today and this is what I came up with.” She handed the paper to Amy.

“Do you think that this is the only way to succeed? We have to wake the Sailors of Justice? It doesn’t even tell us how to do that. Maybe Trista or one of the Outer Sailor Scouts would be able to tell us. The trouble is, after the last fight nobody knows where anybody went. The Moon’s vanished, the Outers, and those ex-warlords haven’t made another appearance.”

“Well,” said Rowen. “If the ex-warlords are going out with the other scouts you can bet that they are together.”

“Who do you think Serena gave the throne to?” asked Amy. “I’m hoping she gave it to Trista or Amara. They can take on the Moon’s.” Rowen put his head on her lap and looked up at Raye.

“Are you okay Raye?”

“I’m fine. Why wouldn’t I be?”

“You look super stressed.”

“Of course I’m stressed Rowen. Two of my good friends have just died. The power of the Inner Sailor Scouts is vanishing and if we lose another member we have no hope.”

“Raye there are a lot of people who will make sure that you will not die. I’m one of them. And you know that I’m not going to let anything come close to Amy. Sage is now over protective of Lita because he doesn’t want to lose another person that he loves. You guys are safer than you have ever been before.”

“I know that you will protect me. However, there is only so much that you can do. I love you Rowen.”

“I love you too Raye.”

“I’m going to go back and try to read more from the fire.”

Cye and Kento were standing at the highest point of town...The Tokyo Tower. They were staring at the city. Kento in particular was staring at the spot where Serena had died which wasn’t too far away.

“I think they got rid of all of the blood. There was so much of it. Serena must have been in so much pain. I’m so proud of her. She stuck it out and wasn’t frightened. She was so fearless.” A solitary tear fell from his eye but he wiped it way quickly.

“Mina shouldn’t have died. It’s completely my fault and I will never forgive myself for it.

She was so perfect for me. I know that she is in heaven right now and she is watching me. That’s the only reason I feel like I can go on.”

They began to hear scratching noises. They looked at each other. “What the hell...” They turned around.

“What...the fuck...is THAT!?” Kento yelled. There were about twenty tall, skeletal creatures around them. Their arms went below their knees and they had no mouths. Their eyes were neon kind of green and they were staring at Cye and Kento with a hungry kind of look.

“This must be the other enemy.”

“Well my years of experience tells me now would be a great time to get into our armor.” They transformed. “I’ll take these ten and you take those ten.”

“Sounds good...but what about the big one?”

Kento looked to see what Cye was talking about. There indeed was a giant version of the creatures. “Holy Sh...”One lunged at him and Kento punched it. Yellow blood flew from two slits in its face and splattered Kento’s face. “Yuck. What the...”

Suddenly Cye dropped his weapon and grabbed his head. Kento turned to him. “They’re...they’re telepathic.” he said. After about a minute he stood up and looked at Kento. His eyes were the neon green.

“You have trespassed on our territory. For that you two will pay.”

“Cye, am I going to have to kick your ass to get that thing out of you?” He lifted his weapon and whacked Cye across the face with it. Cye staggered a bit and then picked up his weapon.

“Thanks buddy. I needed that. Now let’s kick their ass. Oh, and don’t look them directly in the eyes.” He turned and hit one of them with his trident and then kicked one that was coming up behind him. Kento jumped over three that were charging at them and then shoved them all down the empty elevator shaft.

“Three down, Seventeen to go.” Once he said that Cye stabbed one with the dagger from his back, stuck one with his trident and then turned around and took the head off of another one.

“Six down. And that last one was an accident.” He laughed and then turned to take care of a few more of them.

“Okay, enough of this. IRON ROCK CRUSHER!”

“SUPER WAVE SMASHER!” The attacks took out every Neferiad except for the giant one. They were both splattered in the yellow blood. Suddenly Kento dropped his weapon and grabbed his head. “Oh crap.” said Cye.

“If I were you,” said Kento. “I’d go and try to save that friend of yours. Mars I think they call her. I think she is next.” The Neferiad disappeared leaving Kento looking very confused.

“We need to get over to Rowen’s house. Raye is in trouble.”

Raye was sitting in front of the fire still. Sweat was dripping down her face and her eyebrows were furrowed. “I need to find the way to wake up Titania and Oberon.”

“Raye, you need to take a break.” said Rowen walking up to her. “You’re going to tire yourself. Come on. Let’s go into the house.”

“Alright just give me another minute.” She turned back to the fire and saw a hand reach out to her. She screamed and jumped back.

“Raye!? Okay that’s it. You are stopping right now.” He went over to her and picked her up to her feet. “Let’s go.”

“Not so fast.” Charon, Deimos, Phobos, Calisto, and Triton walked into the temple. “We have something that you think belongs to you.” Ryo came walking through the door.

“Hello Raye. It’s been a long time.”

“Yes Ryo. It’s been a long time indeed. Now get out.”

“Temper temper. You’ve always had a problem with that anger of yours. I have a solution though.” He took his swords out.

Rowen stepped in front of her. “Ryo, if you lay a hand on my sister I will kill you.”

“You’d murder me? You’d murder your friend?”

“Ryo, I’d kill Sage if he killed my sister. That means I’d make your death excruciating. If I were you I’d leave right now.”

“Rowen you always were cute.” said Charon.

“Too bad he’s mine.” Amy was standing behind them holding her transforming wand. “Last time me and Raye transformed we almost got you to wet your pants. I know you don’t want me to transform again.”

“That wouldn’t make Rowen too happy. I don’t think he wants you to fight. You know you should take it easy Amy. You have that baby coming along.”

“Ames, get out of here...NOW!” Rowen reached in his pocket and next thing anybody knew he was Strata. He took out his bow and aimed an arrow at Calisto. “Which one of you is the leader?”

“We don’t bother with all of that stuff. It wastes time listening to somebody bark orders to you when you could be killing the enemy.” said Calisto.

Phobos laughed cruelly. “The odds are against you Rowen. There are five of us and only 3 of you.”

“The odds are getting better.” They turned around and Cye and Kento were pointing their weapons at them, ready to attack.

“Well Kento,” said Deimos, “last time we met I don’t think you did too well.”

“Last time we met I wasn’t sure I understood what kind of threat you were. But this time, I know your power and your heartlessness. And this time, I’m pissed off.”

“Kento, leave her to me.” Halo and Jupiter walked over to them. “As I understand Cye has already claimed Triton as his victim and therefore I can’t touch her. So I claim Deimos. I want vengeance for what she did to my sister.”

“We didn’t come to fight you guys. We came to fight Raye.”

Raye stepped forward. “If you want to fight me, I’m right here.”
